About Me

I am as passionate today as when I started as a social worker twenty years ago. It is a privilege to be a part of helping someone deal with or overcome challenges. My practice is based on personal philosophy that, "No one should walk alone". Even though we sit during a session, I walk with my clients on their emotional journey. I believe in respecting your needs, and providing therapy to meet your goals for as long as we need to be on this path together. There is no one therapy fits all, I work  towards providing each of my clients with their own individual counselling plan.  I have been described by colleagues and clients as someone who is genuine, honest and dynamic.

Most of my experience has been with adults and older adults, who have experienced stress, depression, anxiety, grief, and adjustment to life transitions. I have always had a special interest in mental health and gained most my experience in mental health settings.

I currently work with individual adults and older adults, at this time I do not see children or youth.  I provide free phone consultation to discuss your counselling needs.
